For as long as anyone can remember kids have dared each other to walk past the Old Manor on the hill. Its spooked even the bravest of them - not just the house but the old woman who inhabits it. Some say shes a witch. Some say she killed and ate her own baby. Everyone says she is strange. But I think shes just an old lady who is lonely - perhaps who had something bad happen to them to make them so isolated.
