Stonewall Inn
On the 28th of June 1969, New York City police raided the Stonewall Inn, arresting patrons for being gay. Patrons fought back starting a series of riots known as the Stonewall riots. Every year since, we have marked this significant moment in LGBTQ+ history with Pride parades, celebrating our unique history and the resilience of those who came before us. #pride #stonewall
