How did the boat's bow end up there? a storm? machinery? Aliens? nobody knows, but his owner made the best of it and now it's part of his little cozy home. He keeps some of his treasure as long as some parts of his old ship decoration which he could recover. He's a little grumpy so the shore near his house is neglected and doesn't let anyone near to clean it.
