The Adlington Manor was built in 1821 by Arthur Adlington and his wife. The house became unoccupied following their mysterious deaths later that year, along with their butler who took residency in the basement bedroom. Although the Victorian home boasts many impressive features (including its very own seance room), nobody has stepped forward to buy it, partly on account of a few alleged sightings of ghosts. #paranormal #seance #hauntedhouse
