Two cute townhouses! The blue house is an older style, more "homey" townhouse with lots of study nooks, whereas the red house is an open-plan, modern townhouse with a spacious home gym. I thought you could either create two "separate" sim families to play both houses, or move in one family to one of the houses and then use the new roommate feature to make it look like you have NPC next door neighbours.
