The Salty Succulent was founded in 1953 as a getaway spot for the paranoid. Adverts boasted of its "Everything-Proof" exterior, made of some of the strongest materials known to Sim. The true strength of the motel was tested one morning in 1972, when an airplane crashed into the roof.
