Panglima Prang Manor was a sprawling manor built around 1860 by Tan Jiak Kim, a grandson of Tan Kim Seng, one of the early pioneers and one of the richest men in Singapore. It blends vernacular Malay architecture with large Doric columns, resembling a Greek Temple. The manor was filled with antiques and luxury items collected by 6 generations of the family.
