I used a 1950's house plan on to design this home. The 1950's was the era of modernisation after the war, Some home's began incorporating bright abstract art concepts reflecting on a sci-fi focus within the public. From what I've found; there tended to be a lot of matching of furniture colour to wall colour. Personally I'm not a fan of doing so, but I've designed this home in the best way to match the era.
