Inspired by a restaurant I dined at in Kyoto, Kikunoi embraces old-school elegance and serves traditional Kaiseki-style cuisine even as its neighbors have embraced the faster pace of modern life. The main building houses the entrance, reception area, staff room, and private living quarters.
