Lewisham Estate
#historic This English styled Tudor house was built in England in 1550, by a Jewish family who fled Spain and the Inquisitors' massacre. Unfortunately for them, queen Mary Tudor married king Philip of Spain, therefore introduced the Inquisition into England. The whole family was captured and executed, leaving the estate abandoned. Until 1565, under the reign of Elizabeth I of England, the manor was bought, renovated, and preserved by a successful merchant named Thomas Lewisham.
