Much of this #Gothic #mansion has remained unchanged since #Victorian times, although the building has a chequered past. Home to the Squiggleworth family for generations, by WWII it was to become a base for training homing pigeons in the art of disguise. It welcomed in the new millennium as Mrs Crinklebottom's Prestigious School for Girls. Students insist they've heard the ghostly coos of pigeons disguised as bats in the belfry.
