When the highway came through Chapel Hill (now known as Oasis Springs), the townsfolk weren't sure where to turn. The creek had long since dried up, the industry men had ripped all of the gold and gems they could carry from the mines, and it hadn't rained in a meaningful way in over a decade. So, one by one, families started to disappear in the night. Perhaps they were hitchhiking to the next town, or at least that's what everyone told themselves for comfort. #haunted #ghosttown
