Built in 1698, The Old #Gnome State House was the seat of the #Newcrest General Court for more than 75 years. After the Great Gnome War of 1775, the building was abandoned and left to the elements. Many years of neglect took their toll, and the house was scheduled to be demolished in late 2010. Luckily, a wealthy historian took an interest in the project and saved it from utter ruin.
