I'm confused by who ever thinks this a colonial. Anyone in the south knows this is a shotgun house. An architecture style from the late 18th century isn't colonial. I would say there are french colonial elements added to the decoration which is a style popular in Creole areas. These homes were popularized in 1800’s built by and for freed black slaves. Anywho, I adjusted the floor plan designed it with the BFF household in mind. Added items that are beneficial. #reno #renovation #gardenessence
