Seeking shelter from a wild storm the trawler's hull was ripped asunder passing through the narrow entrance to the tiny lagoon. Its sunken bulk over time changed tidal flows, leaving the lagoon a sandy basin. The receding waters exposed a once undersea cavern to falling sunlight.
