Shortly after this place was built, a series of storms and tornadoes wrecked the roof and exterior walls. With no buyers and the builder out of resources, there it sat. Since then, it has been used for parties by the local teenage youths, squatter families with nowhere else to go, and pidgeons, lots of pidgeons.
