I made an ugly fixer-upper out of the canal corner lot. I did not change very much to the exterior structure, but inside I made it 2 bedrooms and added a dirt floor basement. Realistically, it has everything your sim needs to survive so you can move them in right away and fix up the lot as you play and earn money. Lots of debug items used!
