I've been playing the sims for almost 12 years, and I've never built a house. Can you believe it? I've always just used pre-built ones and furnished it. This was my first ever serious attempt of making a house. I went for a modern design because that seemed the most simple to do. I know its not amazing, but I really tried my best.
