Based off 1955 House of the Future concept art (later built at Disneyland) developed by Marvin Goody for the Monsanto Chemical Corporation, The basis of the design is a molded module, 8 by 16 feet, which is bent to form ceiling, wall and floor. In the simplest plan, eight molded modules are built in pairs from a 16 foot-square central utility core to form four 16 foot-square rooms.
