Wye House is a circa 1790 #plantation on the #EasternShore of #Maryland It is a transition of #Georgian and #Federal architecture. It once sat on 42,000 acres, but today it sits on 1300 acres. It's been in the same family forever. This version has separate areas for a large family to live to the fullest. There's a staff apartment above the oranagery. The left wing is the master wing, the right wing is the family wing, the center block houses the formal rooms, and 2nd floor is 4 kids and guests.
