In 1827, Edward Dashwod left his home to the city of #Windenburg, with the stipulation that it would be used as a place of #education. These days, it is a #museum in which some of the hall's rooms have been renovated to show how they would have appeared. Visitors can also see the Dashwood family’s extensive collection of transport models and stuffed animals. The Hall also features an education room for school visits as well as a cafe.
