Originally an interactive llama experience owned by the Mulligan twins, the Llamington Hotel was abandoned in 1921 and fell into disrepair. In 2014 it was bought at auction by Diana Hanly-Goldberg, daughter of an oil tycoon, who followed her dreams and created the Llamington Eco-Hotel. The hotel now has environmentally friendly features and offers educational workshops for its guests.
