The old schoolhouse was renovated keeping much of its original masonry and freshening it up with a coat of paint. Its shilouette was mostly preserved, although the extension off the right did take advantage of those old bump outs. A photo of the old school hangs above a salvaged teacher's desk at the entrace, and the old chalkboards were repainted and now frame the fireplace in the sitting area.
