Earl and Pearl were married for many years, they were soul mates from the moment they met as teenagers. Pearl loved her flowers and Earl loved his fishing. When Pearl died (from old age) a part of Earl died too. He could never step into Pearls flower garden again. He let himself go, the garden go and the house too. He died from a broken heart.
