I renovated this build with the inspiration of my exgirlfriend's shotgun shack. Most do not have an open floor plan, so redid the layout exactly like her old home. I even repositioned the windows and matched up with the doors for a realistic look. I imagine these were built before air conditioning, so wanted to mimic the ability to open all the windows for the breeze to flow through. I designed it with Andre DaSilva to live here.
