Orginally, the building was an actual (first one in Windenburg) factory. Unfortunately, one day a tragic accident happened and part of the building had to be taken down. In its place a statue was raised to commemorate the event and Sims that lost their lifes during it. Despite the controversy, Factory is currently a trendy industrial style nightclub for young Sims.
