Governor's Palace
The Palace started construction in 1706. Some of the Palace’s most notable residents were John Amson, Patric Henry,and Thomas Jefferson. In 1781, the main building was destroyed by a fire. The reconstruction of the Governor’s Palace was mostly funded by Reverend Dr. W.A.AR Goodwin and John D.
