Among the decrepit buildings in old downtown Newcrest is this shell of what used to be a large church. While the facade and grounds of the place (including the creepy old church cemetery) have been preserved, as part of the city's "Upcycle Newcrest" revitalization program the building itself has been turned into a trendy, artsy, and eco-friendly coffeehouse.
