In his nomadic youth, VanHomme spent a summer in a cult dedicated to worshipping frogs. Life in the commune taught him many things about living off-the-grid: General DIY, crafts, gardening, & showering with frogs instead of soap. Looking back upon the experience, he created the "Commune Camper Caravan" as a commune "starter kit" of sorts (cult not included).
