This quarry was mined years ago and has since been turned into a swimming hole for the neighborhood of Newcrest. It is a very large swimming pool with a bridge going over, lots of trees and other foliage, a beautiful place to swim, socialize, read a book, enjoy the pretty scenery. If you are a strong enough swimmer there is a little ledge on the opposite side of the pool from the diving board that two people could sit. Its quite romantic, no? #quarry #bridge #ripplingflats #MOO
