This is a classic brick British terraced house (rowhouse). This type of house is sometimes referred to as a '2 up, 2 down', because these houses originally had two living rooms downstairs and two bedrooms upstairs. The kitchen, bathroom, bay windows, and porch, would have been added at a later date.
