Siheyuan, a historical Chinese housing complex, consists of a big courtyard surrounded by buildings on all four sides (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siheyuan). Since ancient times, Siheyuan has been used as a single-family house, occupied by a large family with great wealth and prosperity.
