Mrs. Kelp's bakery was founded in 1950 by a couple in their late 30's, who stumbled across family recipes they couldn't keep to themselves. It was only right to name the bakery after the husband's late grandmother's surname, whose craft in sweets, help "Mrs. Kelp's" become a household name. 50 years later, and business is still booming.
