Alan David Savage was a not a pleasant man, but there's no denying his good intentions. In the '30s, he bought an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of Willow Creek and opened Willow Creek Secure Home for the Criminally Insane (later renamed in his honour). Financial and moral concerns doomed the effort and Savage's son has only just managed to keep it in business with minimal facilities and no staff.
