What was once a highly functional (and not to mention - brutal) mental institution in Oasis Springs was left to its own when the sims of the town realized that you can't just freely torture the mentaly ill. The building has been abandoned since then and no one ever bought it or used the lot for something else. Perhaps it's because after all these years, it does feel like something is alive in there. Something that lives in the basement and never comes out in the daylight. #asylum
