Andreas' fault was he lived too close to the beach (so he thought), that's why he moved alot further inland...this decision was purely based upon seeing too many Tsunami and the Jaws movies, the real clincher was the new movie The Meg..."that's it", he said, so he quickly moved over to a canyon far away from the ocean as he could...this was not one of his grand ideas, although the canyon is fairly safe from earthquakes it has suffered a few recently.
