The original Simwood writer to come up with the concept of the "van" - Edric VanHomme - one day came up with the idea for a tiny abode attached to the back of his conceptual vehicle. He would lay in his bed, dreaming of a world where the fictional "cars" would be drivable, & he could take his new home on the road.
