There are few places in Sulani as sacred as the Temple of the Sun. Everyday as the sun sinks below the horizon, locals gather here and light candles as offering to the spirits to make sure that it will rise again the next day. Tradition is ancient here, but the place is pretty new. The structure usually burns down once a fortnight... No one said traditions were meant to be practical... #islandliving #temple #sulani
