Howl's Moving Castle, a Studio Ghibli film, takes place in a gigantic moving monster of a house for the majority of the film. With that said, the timing and history is based on 1930's England. In order to create such a house I, as the builder, took both and made a historically accurate Howl's Moving Castle.
