This is a hotel that was designed to resemble a temple in the 19th century, after the back half of the building collapsed in the 1940s the owners decided to fix what was left of the building, reinforce it's structure, and use it as a bar/ club. It turned out to be a prudent business decision as te bar actually makes more money than the hotel ever did.
