The Oakdale ranch was buildt in 1926 by Sir.William Oakdale who sought out to popularize the lokal town by introducing farm land. The ranch was abandoned in 1956 and left to rot. In 1995 decendands of Sir.William Oakdale reopened the farm as the perfect event destination. The farm has since been renovated, but the ranch still holds a lot of its original rustic interior and exterior.
