Originally built as a private residence (in the Spanish/Mission Revival style) to house treasures collected by the owners on their various travels across the world, It was nearly demolishedl after years of neglect and arson gutted the lower level. Efforts to save the house resulted in it being turned into a funky art gallery/community center on the lower level and balcony and an art museum housing the late family's treasures on the upper level. #missionrevival #spanishrevival #spanishmission
