After graduating from the University of Britechester, Maggie turned her home in Brindleton Bay into a dog hangout. She adopted Gus and Jake, and later adopted a stray cat named Mr. Snuggles. Despite her full home of furry family members, she got lonely as the only human. She decided to adopt baby Carter.
