Vulcanologist Larry Lavah tired of the endless academic grant applications in order to keep studying the volcanic activity in Sulani. The housing at the base of the volcano was less than desireable, though it did keep him right in the middle of the action, and for the third time that week he had had to put out a fire on the roof.
