A fugitive from a crime he did not commit, Grizzly Adams is forced to live as a mountain man. Grizzly is a pal to all animals & does whatever he can to keep them safe from harm. He rescued an orphaned bear cub & they become best friends! He named the cub Ben. Together they had many exciting adventures escaping bounty hunters & foiling the bad guys.
