#PinocchioGeppetto Carving and crafting away in his workshop, Geppetto lovingly creates a boy-like puppet modeled after the son he never had. He names his creation Pinocchio. Drifting to sleep, Geppetto whispers a wish to one day have a son just like Pinocchio. A twinkling wishing star heard this wish and bestowed the spark of life on the hand-crafted puppet.
