My mother was the daughter of an inventor, craftsman, builder. She idolized my grandfather so, and became quite handy with tools as well. Not all girls wear dresses, as my mother taught me, and so I've always envisioned Belle as more of a mechanic, boot wearing, tom-boy craftswoman. Of course, I had to also include our yellow gowned beauty and her prince.
