Sultana Fear Gargoyle. Carved from stone in the South of France sat the Sultana Gargoyle atop the Provence Cathedral. Year after year rain ran down her back protecting the beautiful masonry walls and warding off evil spirits that dare lurch in the shadows of Arles. Until one night during the worst of storms a lighting bolt struck Sultana and split open her carving, sending her crashing to the marble floor and splitting into pieces.
