Amaki Jones is the widow of Casey Jones. She lives with their only daughter Kennedi, her husband Harrison Adams, and their children, Desiree and Everett, two very independent toddlers. Kennedi works as a waitress at the Sunnyside Cafe, while Harrison is a stay-at-home father, Desiree and Everett are twins, they're not that much of a handful, but that's okay.
