Irena and Thomas Vanderpelt had very different ideas of what Retirement would look like. For Irena, a housewife for 25 years, She was ready to get out there and learn more about who she was and what she was capable of as a volunteer firefighter. Thomas, on the other hand, was ready to spend retirement doing absolutely nothing...or at least that was his plan. Irena may have different plans for him.
